traffic cycle design

This design has been evolving for a while.  I think it looks pretty clean.  

To be clear: What you’re looking at is a racktop.  It’s set below the top of the tire because this rack will only be used with panniers.  The connection to the seatstay is via a double-ended bolt (left hand thread on one side and right hand thread on the other) which draws the racktop (which is just peeking out on the left) into the tubular boss that you see touching the seatstay.

To be clear, this was a lot of work.
